Rotating vertical fermenter

Rotating vertical fermenter is used to macerate red wines, in some cases also white ones. By mixing the must cap we ensure that a more intense extraction of pigmentation is achieved from the mixture of berry skins and seeds.

The tank consists of a cylindrical coat, conical top, an inclined bottom, a set of legs, a mixing system with a motor and reducer and a cooling coat. 

The fermenter is made of AISI 304 material, it can also be made entirely of AISI 316, depending on customer preference. The inside of the tank is shiny (BA/3D quality), which ensures high quality and enables fast and easy cleaning. Internal welds are mechanically treated and polished.

The mixing flaps inside are positioned transversely. Flaps are used for mixing/immersing the wine lees.

With the switch box at the front of the tank, we manage the entire automation of the process.

The installed cooling/heat coat enables the maintenance of the desired temperature range during the fermentation and maceration process.

Due to its shape, it does not require much space for installation and operation, as it is designed as a classic vertical tank.
